The FiberFuse is a Glass Fusing kiln that operates on a common 120 volt household outlet and uses only 1,800 watts. That is the wattage of many hair dryers used in homes throughout America. Paragon Bluebird XL
Annealing Kiln.
The Paragon BlueBird XL kiln has a new and improved ceramic fiber roof, thicker doors with new gaskets, heavier mandrel holders, and a stainless steel control panel.
The Paragon BlueBird XL kiln is a dream kiln for the glass bead enthusiast. This 20” wide, 8” deep kiln safely anneals glass to prevent breakage during cooling. With your own Paragon annealing kiln, you will never again worry about stress fractures in your glass.
The kiln opens doorways of opportunity in beadmaking. The 10” wide double doors give a total of 20” width for inserting bead rods.
The user-friendly Sentinel TouchXpress Touchscreen Controller maintains the annealing temperature. Program it for the length of time desired. Adjust the cooling rate through the annealing range. The controller is packed with features but is so easy to use that your child could program it.

The BlueBird Jr features high-tech, efficient ceramic fiber insulation in the roof, walls and floor. The element is embedded in the roof between layers of ceramic fiber board to reduce dust. This is a true high performance kiln you will enjoy using often.

Paragon CalderaXL.
Multipurpose Kiln.
Fire porcelain, stoneware, china, ceramics, and decals in Paragon’s digital Caldera XL. Test glazes and glaze application ideas before running production quantities in a large studio kiln.
You will not outgrow a small kiln even if you acquire a larger kiln later. Continue to use the Caldera XL for testing or for small projects. Carry it with you to seminars or on vacation; convenient handles aid in moving the kiln.
The firebrick corners are fitted together with L-shaped notches for extra strength. This type of joint lasts longer than the butted joint and the "picture frame" mitered joint found on competitive brands.
A steel base supports the brick bottom. The Caldera XL comes with a built-in steel stand. Use the switch on the front panel to reboot the controller.
Both sides of the lid and top rim of sidewall firebricks are hardened and sealed with a refractory coating to protect the ware from dust. The firing chamber, including the lid and bottom, is made of 3” thick firebricks, 20% thicker than standard 2 1/2” bricks.
Heating elements are made from the finest high-temperature wire available. Paragon uses heat-dissipating element connectors refined and proven over many years in our kilns. The stainless steel case and lid band include case tighteners for easy maintenance.

Paragon Fusion7.
Glass fusing & slumping kiln.
The Fusion-7 heats from the top. For reliability, the elements are mounted in pinless element grooves. Since the element coils are wider than the groove opening, the elements do not need pins. The Fusion-7 is made with insulating firebricks, which store heat for slow cooling. Thus, smaller, thinner projects may not need additional heat during the annealing range. The lid is 3” thick and the walls and bottom are 2 1/2” thick.

The 10-sided Fusion-10 will open a world of creativity for you. Fire silk-screening on glass, fire decals, paint with frit and stringers, fuse recycled bottles. Experiment with glass weaving. Create breathtaking glass in the deluxe GL-22AD Professional Series glass kiln. The GL-22AD is proudly made in America by skilled craftsmen and is designed for those whose livelihood depends on glass production.
The GL-22AD digital kiln is 13 1/4” high inside with room to bend glass for curved windows or cabinet doors and to repair lamp shades. Make glass-fused platters. Crack the door to rake or emboss designs in the surface. Make small-to-medium sized castings and pâte de verre.
Paragon’s GL-series are made for years of rigorous firing, as artists all over America can attest. The insulating firebrick, wrapped in heavy-gauge steel, soak up heat for slow, efficient cooling. A double heat shield and air gap between the kiln and ventilated switch box help keep electrical components cool for long, trouble-free service. Costly heavy-gauge nickel-plated copper wiring is covered with high temperature glass-braided insulation. The thermocouple, which senses temperature inside the kiln, is protected with a high-nickel stainless steel sheath for long life.
The GL-series top elements use a new element groove that eliminates element pins. The element coils are wider than the groove opening, so the elements stay in place without pins.
The spring-pressure latch and a ½" recess around the edge of the firebrick door keep the door tightly closed. The door remains rock-steady on a heavy hinge shaft. Four hand lifts aid moving. The base is open in the back and slotted to dissipate heat.
