The digital 14-9SSP china painting kiln is 2" deeper than the earlier X-14J and of single-piece construction. The 14-9SSP uses the Sentry Xpress 3-key digital controller. Experiment with temperature hold to achieve brilliant, saturated china colors.
The 149 fires to 1700°F on a 120 volt, 20 amp, 5-20R outlet. The lid comes with a lock-in lid support for easy loading and the Prop-R-Vent for two stage venting of china paint fumes.
Paragon Kilns are no longer shipped with a kiln stand at no charge. In the "Available Options," please choose the Standard Kiln Stand (6" tall with mar-proof plastic feet), or the 12" Deluxe Rolling Kiln Stand (Recommended if you are adding a VentMaster Kiln Vent).
IMPORTANT: Some areas such as Canada and Europe require a lid or door safety switch on kilns.
