The Paragon Vitrigraph will open a world of new techniques and experimentation even if you’ve fused glass for years. You will find yourself spending hours with the kiln. Your family will wonder where you’ve gone. But not for long, because they will join you once they discover your kiln.
Use pieces of clear glass as dams to separate colors in the pot. Create your own colors. Pull your own canes. Have you ever “painted” images onto sheet glass with hot stringers? With the Paragon Vitrigraph, you can “draw” with stringers as they emerge directly from the kiln.
The kiln fires rapidly up to 1900°F. It uses space-age ceramic fiber insulation, noted for energy efficiency. The stainless steel jacket is vented to lower the surface temperature of the kiln. A safety toggle switch on the side of the electrical box shuts off power to the heating element.
