PARAGON E14: The XL front-loading kiln for enameling, glass art, and precious metal clay

The PARAGON E14 is the largest model in our E Series, offering expanded space for ambitious enamel, glass, and metal clay projects. With a firing chamber that reaches 2000°F (1093°C), this kiln handles everything from china painting and silver clay to bronze casting, small ceramics, and lost wax burnout—while delivering the same reliable performance artists trust in every Paragon.

The front-loading design makes it perfect for copper enameling and other delicate work, giving you more control during loading and unloading. Whether you’re firing large pendants, casting metal jewelry, or sagging glass over molds, the E14 opens up new possibilities in your creative process.

Why own a kiln like this?

When your art demands more space, the E14 delivers. It lets you fire larger, more complex forms without crowding or stacking. Imagine the freedom of working with a full range of glass fusing projects, from shallow bowls to multi-component jewelry. Thanks to its even heat distribution and thermal mass, it’s also a great tool for annealing, soaking, or cooling cycles.

Why choose the PARAGON E14?

The E14 features a chamber measuring 11" W x 13.5" D x 6.5" H and is insulated with 2.5" thick firebrick for excellent heat retention and stability. Its heating elements are recessed into dropped firebrick grooves—easy to access, simple to replace, and designed to last. A stamped 1/2" hole in the steel door case (left undrilled in the brick) gives you the option to create a peephole, vent, or pyrometer access if needed.

The kiln comes standard with the SENTINEL Touch Xpress touchscreen controller, mounted at an ergonomic angle on the kiln’s front base. This advanced digital controller provides flexible programming, real-time temperature displays, and built-in safety features like automatic resume after door opening. A door switch disables the elements when the kiln is open, and a durable latch system ensures smooth single-hand operation.

Who is this kiln for?

The E14 is ideal for enamelists and jewelers who’ve outgrown tabletop kilns and need space to scale up. It’s also a smart pick for teaching studios, multipurpose art spaces, or professionals working with a mix of clay bodies, metal casting, or small-format glass. If you want the most chamber volume available in the E Series without stepping into industrial-sized equipment, the E14 is the way to go.
