Discover the SC Series

The PARAGON SC Series kilns are compact, electric models designed for artists who work with silver clay, glass, enamel, low-fire ceramics, and more. All SC models reach up to 2000°F and operate from a standard 120V outlet. With ceramic fiber insulation, even heat distribution from dual side elements, and the reliable Sentinel Touch Xpress digital controller, these kilns have earned the trust of makers and studios around the world.

What makes this PARAGON SC3 GD special

This version of the PARAGON SC3 has been specially configured for lampworking and glass bead annealing. It combines the deeper chamber of the standard SC3 with a bead door and mandrel holder, creating a kiln that is ideal for artists who work with hot glass rods, beads, marbles, pendants, and small sculptural pieces.

The bead door allows you to place mandrels directly into the kiln while keeping the chamber closed and stable. This helps maintain a more consistent temperature during the annealing process and gives lampworkers the flexibility to add or remove pieces throughout the day without interrupting the firing cycle.

The deeper chamber of the SC3 is especially valuable in this application because it provides more space for longer mandrels, larger bead racks, and more pieces inside the kiln at one time.

Designed to Make Firing Effortless

With its Sentinel Touch Xpress controller, this PARAGON SC3 takes the guesswork out of firing. Simply input your desired rate, target temperature, and hold time—then let the kiln do the rest. The bright, easy-to-read display and intuitive interface make it perfect for both beginners and experienced glass artists.

Even heating: Dual side elements help maintain consistent temperatures throughout the chamber.

Bead door access: Add or remove mandrels without opening the main door or losing chamber heat.

Mandrel holder included: Provides a convenient resting point for hot mandrels during use.

Cool-touch exterior: The ceramic fiber chamber is encased in steel with an air gap for safe operation, even during extended use.

Efficient layout: Electrical components are housed in the base to keep them cool and durable.

Compact Powerhouse for Creative Spaces
