PARAGON CRUCIBLE TRIFECTA: Triple-crucible power for serious glass production
The PARAGON CRUCIBLE TRIFECTA is a production-grade crucible kiln designed to supercharge your hot glass studio. With space for three crucibles and access through three individual 9" lid openings, this kiln offers the freedom to work with multiple glass colors at once. Mix your own formulas, pull neon tubing, make castings, or ladle molten glass into molds. Whether you're creating paperweights, stringers, blown vessels, or experimenting with sculpture, the Trifecta is made for serious glass artists who need flexibility and high-volume performance.
Why own a kiln like this?
The Trifecta gives you the ability to scale your production, test or mix colors in parallel, and always have hot glass ready to pour or blow. It’s a true workhorse that offers the power of a large crucible furnace in a form that's built for daily use—and recovery from the occasional crucible mishap.
Why choose the PARAGON CRUCIBLE TRIFECTA?
This kiln features a robust 28.5" wide chamber with 3” thick K-25 firebrick lining on all sides, including the lid and floor. These bricks are 20% thicker than standard 2.5" firebricks and designed for prolonged high-temperature soaking. A ceramic fiber blanket wraps the firebrick chamber to improve insulation and overall efficiency.
The three crucible ports in the lid are each covered with a dedicated firebrick plug, fitted with a stainless steel band and wooden handle. The lid itself is secured with four T-handle spring latches and is designed without a hinge for easier removal and replacement. A tapered peephole allows for clear internal viewing, and four lift handles make moving the kiln more manageable.
The firing chamber sits atop a detachable firebrick base, which can be removed and replaced if glass from a cracked crucible leaks. This reduces maintenance cost and extends kiln life. The bottom is supported by a galvanized steel base that folds up around the sides for structural integrity. A 9" stand is included, complete with mar-proof rubber feet.
The PARAGON CRUCIBLE TRIFECTA is powered by three independent heating elements—if one burns out, the remaining two can keep the temperature elevated temporarily, giving you time to use up the molten glass and protect your crucibles.
Advanced SENTINEL digital control
The Trifecta is equipped with the SENTINEL digital controller, mounted in a wall-mounted control box and connected by 6' cables to protect it from prolonged heat exposure. This touchscreen controller offers:
-
Easy-to-use navigation with real-time graphical firing displays
-
Up to 30 custom programs, each with 32 programmable segments
-
Mid-cycle editing options (add time, skip steps, adjust temperatures)
-
Error alerts and built-in diagnostics
-
Wi-Fi ready for software updates and remote monitoring via registration
This controller gives you full command over the glass melt process—perfect for maintaining ideal consistency and color during extended soaks.
Who is this kiln for?
The Trifecta is made for production glass studios, neon tube artists, casting specialists, and any hot glass professional who needs multi-crucible access, reliability, and easy maintenance. It's also an excellent kiln for advanced educational settings where multiple color melts or casting processes are taught simultaneously.
