Full-Coverage Heating for Uniform Results

• Lid elements are embedded in pinless grooves—held securely by groove geometry rather than pins, which means cleaner construction and reduced maintenance.

• Sidewall elements span all three sides in six horizontal rows, seated in recessed grooves for protection and durability.

• Door heating elements deliver direct front-end heat for complex projects and allow for techniques like embossing or working through the open door. The hinged door is always mounted on the right.

This three-directional heating system creates an even thermal environment, especially important when working with thick layers, large surfaces, or sensitive materials.

Power Ratio Heat Control

With Paragon’s power ratio technology, you can precisely control how much heat comes from the top versus the side and door elements. Adjust in 10% increments—from 100% top heat to 100% side/door heat or any custom combination in between. Perfect for slumping glass into molds, correcting uneven heating, or managing specialized surface effects.

• 3-inch thick firebrick insulation ensures excellent heat retention and gradual, controlled cooling.

Thoughtful Features for Studio Use

• Spring-loaded door latch keeps the door tightly sealed, with a ½" recessed edge for improved fit and insulation.

• Two peepholes, one above the other, let you monitor your work without disrupting the firing cycle. Peephole plugs included.

• Four lift handles make relocation easier, and the open-back base helps dissipate heat.

• Note: Optional glass viewing windows are not compatible with this model due to door heating elements.

• A built-in door safety switch disables the heating elements when the door is opened, while allowing the controller to remain active.

• The environmentally friendly water-based finish minimizes emissions during manufacturing and ensures a durable, heat-resistant exterior.

The GL22ATSD includes the SENTINEL Smart Touchcontroller, a digital touchscreen interface for precise firing management. Easily program custom ramp-hold schedules, adjust heat balance, track energy usage, and monitor firing status in real time. The sealed touchpad is dust-resistant and easy to clean—perfect for busy studios.
