PARAGON CT61109: Compact, Capable, and Made for Precision

Why choose the PARAGON CT61109?

The PARAGON CT61109 is a round, 6-sided kiln with an interior diameter of 11” and a height of 9”, providing 0.56 cubic feet of firing space. As the smallest member of the CT family, it’s an ideal solution for small-scale work in porcelain, china painting, metal clay, test tiles, or jewelry. Its portability, low power requirements, and quick firing cycles make it the go-to kiln for educators, hobbyists, or professionals working on delicate, high-precision projects.

Plugging into a standard 120V outlet with a 30-amp breaker, the CT61109 is both powerful and efficient. It’s perfect for home studios or limited space environments where high performance is still a must.

Heavily insulated

The walls are 4 1/2” thick! The 2 1/2” thick firebricks are backed with an extra 2” of block insulation between the firebricks and the stainless steel case. The lid is 3” thick, and the bottom is 4 1/2” thick.

Features of the Max-119

  • Large enough to fire a 10” plate
  • Lock-in lid support with positive catch
  • Coated lid and top rim of firebrick
  • Full-formed galvanized steel base
  • Heavy duty elements
  • Cold rolled stainless jacket

A kiln you won’t outgrow

You will never outgrow a small kiln. If you later buy a larger kiln, continue to use the CT61109 for testing or small projects. Perfect a new design in the small kiln before running production quantities in the large kiln.

A small test kiln is invaluable in solving ceramic glaze problems and perfecting difficult glazes such as crystallines.
